When everyone's eating steamboat at their relative's houses...
When everyone's recieving Angpaos and complaining about how little money they're getting...
When everyone's catching up with their cousins...
When everyone's busy buying New Year clothes to wear for the New Year...
When everyone's too busy going to other people's houses...
When everyone's preparing for relatives to come to their house...
When everyone's celebrating Chinese New Year..
Poor Stephanie is at home or overseas somewhere trying to escape reality. :(
Due to problems in the family, brothers and sisters not talking because of...what some people did. Caused by someone. Not doing their duty as a daughter or a son. Complaining because duties are not evenly distributed. Or, because they don't want to do their duty. Shut out that one person. So many problems. For so many years. And we are the ones affected.
Therefore. I don't get to see my cousins or talk to them anymore. I don't get to recieve Angpaos from my Aunties and Uncles. Every new year, we go out of the country so that we will have something to do. Even though it's only for one day. Like this year. I don't even get to complain how little money I get.
:) But I shall be happy. Happyhappyhappyhappyhappy! Cuz at least I have my own family. And that's what matters. Doesn't it.
Besides. It's no good to be unhappy during new years. So what? So what if I get 2 angpaos. I don't care.
