Today is the 4th of June. I went to The Click Five: Modern Minds and Great Times World Tour 2008 concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from 8pm to 10pm thereabouts on the 1st of June 2008. It was about 1 and a half hours. I was sitting at T07, row 15, seat number 5. I could see those cardboard hands thing being tossed around at the moshpit during the concert lmao.
Kyle, Ben, Joey, Ethan and Joe were awesome! Kyle's voice was heavenly and when he was singing the song Ethan wrote called "Don't let me go", it's like everyone was so captivated by it. Good job to Ethan for writing it and good job to Kyle for singing it so damn bloody well. And apparently Ethan broke a string on an acoustic bass lol. Rockin' too hard huh? Which reminds, me I saw a vid on this girl trying to hold Ethan's hand it was rofl. Haha! Anyway, Ben, or so called, the 'Mad Scientist', was going crazy on stage. He gayed his microphone by wrapping some green and grey scarf of his around it, and was shaking his head like he was on drugs or something. He was the craziest band member during the whole concert and was rocking so energetically on his keytar he literally flew across the stage.

Kyle did this really cute impression of a plane, spreading his arms wide and swaying back and forth and I love his pointy white shoes and his cute exaggerated dances! The solos were awesome! Joey's one was kickass, him drumming like noones business, and some lucky bums got to take his drumsticks home when he threw them out after the concert lols. Joey is always the nicest :)Oh yeah Ethan's guitar pick also got thrown out and I think Joe's one as well. Joe's solo was freaking awesome by the way, and at one point he was kneeling on the stage and doing some super cool song. And Kyle drank water, sprayed it on the people who were moshing and threw the bottle to them. He did that twice.

Oh yea Kyle and Joe's guitars at one point were, ehem, getting to know each other very intimately. Kyle was the one going around and doing crazy stuff with the other members, like holding Ben's head and doing some headbanging. The band was great, they did some old songs and some new ones and some current ones and even did some rockin beatles song called "I'm looking through you". I really like "Summer Time" and "Headlight Disco" and this really upbeat song "Pump it up". Kyle was like "Okay Singapore! We're about to pump it up!" and at headlight disco he was "Comon! I wanna see some movement! This chorus was made for jumping! You know what to do! "They even performed "Catch your wave" lol. That was on the huge red cardboard hands, which I kinda ruined cuz I was grabbing on to it so tightly. Ha!

Yeah and Charlie Guese came!! Ohgosh! He was the one who made the awesome super wicked introduction video at the start. He is supertalented and omg, when he came on stage, Yiling and I were like "Ohshit omg hotdamn so cute!he's so cute! oh shit freaking hot!" It was hilarious, everyone was screaming. And that reminds me, at one point when it was quieter, I yelled "KYYLLE!" and everyone turned around a halfsecond later to look at me hahah! Yeah I was pretty high and crazy yesterday night. With no help from my friend at all lol. I was screaming the whole night through and barely sat down. Come to think of it, I only sat down at the beginning and at the end. Might as well be moshing huh. I had a sorethroat after the concert lol. But it was way worth it.

Oh and I splurged on The Click Five's merchandise, I don't have pictures of the stuff I bought nor the ones with Yiling but I got myself a Click Five black world tour 2008 shirt and an autographed Modern Minds and Pastimes CD. Shirt was 30 bucks and CD was 25. Freaking ex la. But, couldn't help it. Teehee! XD
I recorded some of the songs they sang using my ruddy phone and they looked so faraway in the phone. The sound quality also wasn't very good because of all the screaming and shit. Then this guy whispered in my ear near the beginning of the concert that I am not allowed to take vids so I ended up recording their voices instead. Which was more audible and I keep listening to it over and over again.

They left for Jakarta yesterday morning at around 10plus. Too bad I didn't go. :( And they are going to Genting on the 7th and I'm going on the 20th! DANG! Hope they come to Singapore again! Oh yeah!! The crowd was like crap, so not enthusiastic during the concert! Like they were sitting there and just listening. Can they like move abit???!! And I'm not the only one complaining, several others were too. Must they need prompting from Kyle to move?? Hello be more self initative can?? lol. yeah. o.O
It was a great concert. Simply awesome :) I got the autographed version of this.
