Why does Stephanie always manage to completely make a fool of herself in an otherwise totally normal situation?
Dang it!!
And WHY does Stephanie like to spout nonsensical and incomprehensible statements when others don't?
And HOW does one curb that feeling of dissatisfaction towards oneself? (E.g: One thinks one is a loser.)
Anyways.... Just got back from Guru Camp. I just realised I should have taken the XS shirt. The S is superduper big la the sleeves until my elbows and the bottom of the shirt is like tooooo long. And its so big and wavy and spacey. Ew.
I think that, the camp, even if it didn't teach me anything much, at least exposed me to a wide variety of situations. Handling little children is definetely not easy. You have to be mighty patient with them, and sometimes when they don't listen to you you get so bloody pissed but you don't have the heart to yell or scold them. (in my case) So they end up getting away with it. And you know you are supposed to do something about it, but when you look at their faces, how can one bear to inflict emotional harm on such innocence? So you end up being a lousy leader.
Secondly, the excellent night time guitar entertainment by the guys has inspired me even more to pick up my guitar again after promos and learn somemore stuff. Self-improvement.
I think every volunteer feels approximately the same way, of having immense pride for the children. When they get scolded, your heart is pained. When they are happy, you feel joy. You are willing to sacrifice your meals, your sleep, your comfort, just to make them as comforted and happy as possible. And when they offer the same to you, do you feel so touched that someone this small would do something so nice to you.
And I've met so many different personalities. Children are the least judgemental , and they are so honest with their feelings. It's so nice. I don't have to guess whether they like or hate this person, its so obvious. Anyway, even if I don't know, they'll tell me who are their enemies and whatever lol.
Slept at 4plus? till 7. Quite a nice sleep though I think. :D
