I shall try to blog in proper English because my friends in school have said I am the epitome of Singlish-ness. That isn't very good is it? Bearing in mind my deteriorating Mandarin skills, since I have not written a Chinese essay or read a Chinese book ever since I graduated from secondary school, and only speaking Mandarin to my mom and a few other people , I must not allow myself to descend into the bottomless pit of unfathomable broken english and mar my comprehension and fluency of the language.
School was torturing as usual, for want of a better word.. Complicated? Draining? Annoying? Suffocating? Even though I am no doubt surrounded by professional and caring educators and grudgeful educatees (whom I share a bond with because we have to spend 7/8th of our teenhood in the same blessed instituition), life somehow grinds to a halt when your brain is swirling with complicated mathematical concepts and difficult economical theories 80% of the time.
Literature drama workshop was quite fun though. We had to do poses in freeze-frame and loosen ourselves up by acting like crazy monkeys and angry taxi-drivers. Pretty fun. :D And the best thing about being in a Literature class is that even overhearing conversations gets pretty hilarious sometimes, because after all, Lit students have fairly warped brain cells.
Okay enough with the pretense.
I woke up at 8pm just now, because I was so fatigued from school. Then I had to wake up and study for my Economics test which is going to take place tomorrow. Coincidentally, or not, on budget day. I don't really fancy studying for tests and exams or anything for that matter, because it always leaves me pretty much gutted at the end of it. Best to do some more swotting I reckon.
Anyhoo, the Chinese New Year is approaching so hoorah! I am more looking forward to the holiday then the angpao recieving and all because I don't really get much ..Not that it matters lol.
Alright back to studying :)
