Maybe I'm a bit slow/ignorant but I just discovered that Michael Phelps had a photo of him smoking marijuana or in other words pot/bong published in a UK newspaper. Apparently it was taken last November at a party at the University of South Carolina. The media has made a big hoo ha over the issue but I still don't get what the fuss is all about. Michael is a nice person, he helps disabled swimmers and stuff etc etc. He isn't rude or anything. He trained all of his life and won 8 gold medals for the US. The least they can do is give him a break right? He won a friggin 8 medals!!! He deserves to smoke all the pot he wants!!Well. Smoking pot is bad though. It's hard trying to do everything right and be a role model and stuff. Now that he's won all the gold medals, people would have higher expectations for him in the next olympics. Poor Phelps. No wonder he looks so annoyed.
