I wrote this poem for lit the other day. But didn't submit it because I couldn't find a picture that related to it which was what was required for the assignment. Analyse it if you will hahahah!

Victory shall be thine

Fatigued from wars I cried my dignity lost,
My sullen hands betray the roads betwixt the mountains.
She with her curly locks and cursed brutal fate,
Drags her chains up the stairs to hand me chips I do not deserve,
But I feign my gratitude with a synthetic smile.

To make a concluding conquest I beweep remembrance of
A time through the woods, a minute with the daffodils,
And a second of my palm in hers, our lines merged,
To await the scythe soon to press the switch,
Then pull it’s cloth over the world and steal the jewels from the sky.

Haply I woke from macabre tales, to see my fortunes wrought,
Upon my nature and likewise on her fortunes.
The curse we place upon their heath and blind their eyes,
Til no judgement is passed and feelings are kept privy
That then we spin a reel of gold to seal our lives and be so bold and so bold,
And victory shall be thine

P.S: Thanks to a portion of PAEA03 people for the board!! mamasan, alson, benben, qianhui, kailin.!!! I am truly touched to have friends like you:D:D:D:D:D
