Anyway so I attended church today. Like every saturday. And a nun was speaking today and I thought she told us a story which I thought was really thought provoking.
So she was talking about this priest who wanted to write a book on faith because people all around him were asking him where is God? why doesn't he want to show himself and appear to everyone and so we will know he really exists. I mean he's God right so why does he want to remain invisible in heaven and stuff. Just appear once and everything will be clear right.
So this priest he was a theologian before he became a priest. And he was a prof in that field. Then he went around doing his research for the book and he also sat down with a professor to discuss his book and he asked the prof why God doesn't want to just appear for everyone to see? Where is he anyway?
And then the other prof was like if you go to the fields and you see the trees and the flowers in full bloom and then you ask where is summer? But it IS summer and summer is happening. It's like seeing all the beautiful things around you and asking where is God? There is evidence all around you, he is incarnate. He is here with us, he is not in heaven or wherever you think he is. He is everywhere, the alpha omega, incarnate.
You get it? Like you see what he has created. So he is here. It's like you see the seasons change, flowers bloom, bunnies hopping about and you ask, where is summer? Summer is here just like God is here.
Okay I don't know why I decided to type about this. I don't usually do. Just thought it was rather interesting and made a lot of sense..soo yeahhhh ciaoo
