Thailand was brilliant. Thai people have the most wonderful personalities, and it really IS the land of smiles because everywhere I went, people were really polite and were smiling.

I guess my main motive for going to Thailand was to shop because the stuff there is just really cheap. Clothing material isn't really the best but it's alright given the price. Food is really cheap though. We ate at a Japanese restaurant one time and for approximately 100-150 baht, I got this Ebi Tempura set with 6 tempura prawns, some squid/octopus dish, with rice, soup and ice cream. Just plain awesome.

Did a decent amount of shopping. It is rather hard for bigger sized people to get really really nice clothes because it is all free size, and Thai people are generally smaller in size. Even shoes are kind of hard for me because I have giant feet :/

The hotel we stayed in was called Somerset @ Lake Point which was located in Sukhumvit. We took the taxi to the shopping centres : Platinum shopping mall, MBK shopping mall, Centre point. We walked to Time Square.

We just followed the Train line to the malls. It was a bit dangerous crossing the roads because the cars did not have designated driving lines and so they could change direction half way. It was a bit chaotic, but the best thing was, I didn't even hear any people horning or anything. In fact, I didn't even hear a single horn. It was just silent, organised chaos. Not really organised but it was kind of quiet really.

People were really nice and polite. Especially the bellboys in our service apartment which gave the best service, talked to us and even bought us orange juice and water out of their own pocket.
